Compensation: USD $4,000 - $5,000 per month (tax-free, based on experience)

Masterminds Micro-School offers a personalized learning environment for 20-30 elementary and middle school students, integrating advanced methodologies to foster intellectual, physical, and social excellence. Our small class sizes of 5 – 6 students ensure individualized attention, allowing educators to tailor instruction to each student's needs. Our students consistently perform two or more years ahead of traditional curriculum standards, preparing them for future academic and personal success.

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Math and Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching elementary and middle school students, employing creative methodologies to make both subjects engaging and enjoyable. Familiarity with curricula such as California and Singapore Math is advantageous but not mandatory; we value educators who can adapt various methodologies to exceed curriculum outcome expectations. The ability to conduct hands-on science experiments and integrate technology, is important.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Planning & Implementation: Plan and implement math and science curricula that incorporate diverse methodologies, ensuring alignment with Masterminds' educational standards.
• Innovative Teaching Methods: Utilize creative and engaging teaching strategies, including hands-on experiments and interactive activities, to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for students.
• Student Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Technology Integration: Teach basic AI concepts using provided course content, enhancing students' technological proficiency.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching math and science at the elementary and/or middle school level.
• Methodologies: Ability to adapt and implement various teaching methodologies to exceed curriculum outcomes; familiarity with California and Singapore Math is a plus.
• Technology: Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and motivate students; strong organizational abilities.
