Position: Deputy Headteacher

Reports to: Principal

THE ROLE
The Deputy Head (Pastoral) is a key member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, which comprises the Headteacher, Deputy Head Primary, and two Deputy Heads for the Senior Section (Years 9 to 13): Pastoral and Academic.

The Deputy Head Pastoral is responsible to the Headteacher for the Senior School’s pastoral values, tutorial system, PSHE strategy, and pupil wellbeing. The Deputy Head Pastoral will also be the direct line manager of the Heads of Year in Years 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.

The duties and responsibilities of this post are numerous and varied, providing considerable scope for contributing to the strategic direction and continuing development of what will be a large, successful, and forward-looking school with a culture of high expectations.
