English EAL Teacher

We have a top British International School in Doha, Qatar seeking an EAL Teacher.

The schools ia 3-18 British International School that follows the National Curriculum for England. Widely regarded as one of the best schools in Qatar amongst staff, parents and pupils, if you are looking to teach in Qatar it doesnt get much better than this.

The role is to teach and support students across the school that have EAL (English as an Additional Language). The role will primarily based across the secondary age range although you may also have some students in upper Primary.

With regards to qualifications the school requires a PGCE on top of a degree so unfortunately a TEFL or CELTA will not be sufficient.

Either a B.Ed or PGCE is acceptable. You could be either a primary or secondary trained teacher that experience working with EAL students.
