The Role
As Headteacher/Principal, you will play a pivotal role in driving the school’s continued growth and excellence. You will be responsible for the strategic, academic, and operational leadership of the school, working closely with the Sherborne Qatar Executive Team to strengthen its reputation as a school of choice for both expatriate and Qatari families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a vision for the school’s continued growth, ensuring alignment with Sherborne Qatar’s wider strategic objectives.
• Academic Excellence: Lead a culture of high aspiration, innovation, and outstanding teaching and learning.
• Pastoral and Community Engagement: Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that prioritizes student well-being.
• Operational and Financial Oversight: Ensure effective management of resources, compliance, and financial sustainability.
• Staff Recruitment and Development: Build and support a high-performing team of teachers and staff.

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an exceptional educational leader with:

• Senior leadership experience in a British school, ideally with international exposure.
• A strong strategic mindset with the ability to drive academic excellence and innovation.
• A deep understanding of British education standards, with a track record of improving pupil outcomes.
• Experience in building strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
• An appreciation for Qatari culture and international education dynamics (experience in the Middle East is advantageous).
