An International School in Doha, Qatar are looking for a Key Stage 3 English Teacher to join their experienced team from 18th August.
Following the National Curriculum for England the school educates a mixed intake of children from expatriate families in Doha. The school has many nationalities across its student body, many of the families are relatively new to Qatar and as a result many children have low levels of English upon entry. The school has a need for teachers that are familiar with EAL and confident in their ability to raise spoken and written English.
Staff are actively encouraged to perform formative assessments throughout the school term. They also hold one end of year summative assessment as per the schools assessment policy.
The headteacher is a long standing head who is super supportive not only of her students but also the schools teaching staff. Previous staff we have placed have spoken highly of the principal and how caring and understanding she has been to all.
Location wise the school is close to Doha’s famous Torch Tower & Villaggio Shopping Mall (featuring mock venetian canal and boats). West Bay is 15- 20 min drive
