We are excited to announce an opening for an energetic kindergarten teacher eager to inspire and nurture the intellectual and social growth of young learners! As a kindergarten teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing engaging lessons. You’ll bring a mix of patience and creativity to the classroom, helping each child flourish. Your role will involve creating an innovative teaching plan and employing various activities and instructional methods to spark motivation in the children.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive teaching plan
- Teach the alphabet and numeracy alongside essential personal, social, and emotional skills
- Organize and prepare learning materials and resources
- Use diverse activities and instructional strategies (including songs, stories, media, structured games, art, and outdoor activities) to engage and stimulate children’s potential
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing valuable updates
- Regularly assess student performance to ensure they are mastering essential skills
- Observe and encourage positive interactions among children, fostering cooperation and sharing
- Collaborate effectively with administrative staff
- Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in a kindergarten setting as a teacher, assistant, or aide
- Strong understanding of child development along with current educational theories and practices
- Creative and artistic abilities in teaching
- Excellent teaching and organizational skills
- Patience and adaptability
- Outstanding communication skills
- Commitment to staying updated on the latest educational trends and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant licensure/certification
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Include:**
- Crafting and adhering to a complete teaching plan
- Delivering lessons in the alphabet and numeracy as well as personal, social, and emotional development
- Organizing educational materials effectively
**DOCUMENTATION:**
- Create and maintain comprehensive learning records for students
- Document solutions for common challenges and provide responses to frequently asked questions
- Develop and submit documented resolutions to the Knowledge Base
**COMMUNICATION:**
- Collaborate with fellow educators for enhanced teaching and learning outcomes
- Provide timely updates on issues to ensure quality and productivity
**Position Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Typically, 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
**Required Language Skills:**
- English – Proficient
