Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 FTE (pro rata), with potential for negotiation for exceptional candidates

We are seeking six dynamic and enthusiastic educators to join our team in China. This unique opportunity allows you to teach English, history, and other subjects, making a meaningful impact on students’ lives while immersing yourself in a rich cultural environment. 
As part of this role, you'll spend four weeks teaching at 3-5 different universities, followed by a week of travel and sightseeing. This is your chance to explore the beauty of China while gaining invaluable teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities: 
- Inspire and empower students to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral. 
- Foster critical thinking and research skills that will benefit students in their academic and professional futures. 
- Enhance English language skills through engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, speaking, and listening. 
- Promote the University of Portsmouth London programs, expanding students' academic horizons.

Essential Requirements: 
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field 
- Proven teaching experience that demonstrates your ability to engage and educate students 
- Outstanding English communication skills, both spoken and written 
- Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative 
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and staff 
- Strong organisational skills to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences 
- Commitment to student success, with the ability to mentor and support students/tutorial groups 
- Flexibility and adaptability, especially during assessment periods
