Join us as an English speaker to teach both adults and children in the beautiful region of western Japan!
You’ll have the opportunity to engage in up to 21 contact hours each week.
We offer a competitive salary along with fantastic benefits, including a car, affordable rent, and the chance to work with amazing students!
Holidays include the exciting Golden Week in May, vibrant Obon week in August, two weeks off for Christmas, plus 2 days for personal holidays during administrative weeks.
To apply, you'll need to be CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualified—this is a must! While experience is preferred, we’re open to welcoming the right candidate who’s eager to learn. Applicants should have an international or Japanese driver’s license, and we particularly value those with experience in creating curriculums or teaching materials, or with early years qualifications.
We’re looking for teachers who are passionate about education! This position is ideal for those ready to make a commitment rather than seeking a working holiday—other schools might be a better fit for that.
Teamwork and going the extra mile for our students are at the heart of our philosophy, and we pride ourselves on being professional yet approachable and caring.
As this role involves interacting with the public, you’ll need to be comfortable speaking with students, parents, and potential clients. The ability to communicate easily and provide advice in clear, simple spoken English is essential.
**Please take a moment to read through the following details carefully to ensure this job and its conditions align with your expectations before applying. We want our teachers to be excited about working with us, which starts with a clear understanding of the working and living conditions!**

**Sponsorship:**
We're thrilled to offer VISA sponsorship! This opportunity comes with a one-year contract, and believe us, the possibility of a renewable contract is negotiable after just six months of dedicated work with us!
**Start date:**
You'll begin your adventure with a brief two-week isolation period due to Covid-19, which will be at the employee’s expense.
Once you've navigated that, we encourage you to take a few personal days to unwind after your travels, get settled in, and set up your bank account, among other things. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to show you around your new city or prefecture, indulging in a bit of sightseeing if time allows. Then, you'll dive into 2-3 weeks of dynamic training and shadowing classes, including a trip to our exciting children's franchise headquarters in Hiroshima to immerse yourself in the AIC kids method (with all expenses covered, of course)!
**Salary and benefits:**
Enjoy a competitive salary range of 240,000 to 250,000 yen per month, based on your qualifications and experience, for up to 21 contact hours, plus an additional 10 administrative hours. There's even the potential for overtime pay if extra classes are available!
A company car will be provided for your transportation to classes, and the company will fully cover insurance and taxes. Plus, petrol costs for all classes will be taken care of! (You’ll just need to cover your own petrol for personal use of the car.)
You'll be delighted to know that accommodation is also arranged by the company at a fantastic discounted rate of 30,000 yen per month. No key money is required, just a small deposit of ¥20,000, which will be returned to you upon your departure—as long as the house is in good shape, of course! Your new home will be a private and partly furnished house or apartment, with the option to buy furniture from the previous teacher at a reasonable price.
**Work environment:**
Your work week will be Tuesday to Saturday, and here’s a glimpse of a typical workday:
- **10:30-11:20**: Kindergarten class (followed by a well-deserved ~2-hour break)
- **14:00-14:50**: Adult small group class (then a fantastic ~1.5-hour session for admin/lesson planning)
- **17:00-18:30**: Children small group class
- **19:00-20:30**: Adult/Teen/Company class
We can’t wait for you to join our team and embark on this inspiring journey with us!
