Opportunity to Teach English as a Foreign Language in Oman

Location: Oman
Contract length: 1 year contract (renewable) or Summer Only 1-2 Months

REQUIREMENTS

• For English speakers
• Teaching degree or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and/or TESOL/TEFL/CELTA
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
• Teaching experience in a multi-cultural environment is preferable
• Computer literacy skills; proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• All candidates shall be only accepted if their papers are attested from their country and approved by Oman Government.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Excellent subject knowledge and be aware of developments to the Curriculum.
• Maintain exceptional classroom practice.
• Ability to create interactive classes to engage students with the language.
• Be able to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
• Have computer literacy skills; proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL

We are focused on enhancing the English language skills of the local community in Oman. Located an hour and a half drive from Muscat, the capital city. 

Interviews will be conducted via phone or online at a time that suits both the shortlisted candidates and the recruiter.
